Citrus Marinade
A citrus-based marinade for your protein of choice. It probably goes best with shrimp, but also might work with chicken and pork.
Chemistry
- 1 cup of a flavorful liquid that includes an acid (see Flavorings)
Flavorings
- 1/2 cup citrus juice (this is the acid)
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Zest from one piece of your citrus fruits
- Garlic, minced (~2 cloves, depending on how big)
Procedure
Combine all ingredients. Pour marinade into large zip-top bag with your protein and put in fridge.
